These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by BRV Valeting & Detailing. By booking or using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. General
- All services are carried out by trained professionals using industry-approved products and techniques.
- Results may vary depending on the vehicle’s age, condition, paint type, previous treatments, and level of wear.
- BRV Valeting & Detailing reserves the right to refuse service if a vehicle is deemed unsafe to work on or unsuitable for the requested service.
2. Bookings & Deposits
- All bookings are subject to availability.
- Ceramic coating services require a £100 non-refundable deposit to secure the booking.
- New client bookings require a £20 deposit to secure an appointment.
- New client deposits may be transferred up to two times when rescheduling with sufficient notice. After two transfers, the deposit will be forfeited.
- Deposits are deducted from the final service balance unless otherwise stated.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours may result in the loss of deposit.
- Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice may be charged in full.
4. Vehicle Condition & Inspection
- Customers must disclose any known damage, defects, resprays, poor paintwork, or mechanical issues prior to service.
- BRV Valeting & Detailing is not responsible for pre-existing damage including, but not limited to: stone chips, scratches, dents, worn paint, lacquer failure, or brittle trim.
- Heavily soiled vehicles (excessive pet hair, mould, bodily fluids, or biohazards) may incur additional charges or be refused.
5. Ceramic Coatings & Paint Correction
- Ceramic coating durability is dependent on correct aftercare and maintenance.
- Quoted coating lifespans are not a guarantee and assume proper washing methods and regular maintenance.
- BRV Valeting & Detailing is not responsible for coating failure due to poor maintenance, automatic car washes, chemical exposure, or neglect.
- Paint correction improves paint appearance but does not guarantee 100% defect removal.
6. Workshop-Based Services
- Ceramic coating, paint correction, and specialist detailing services are carried out workshop-based only unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Vehicles must be collected within the agreed timeframe once work is completed.
- Storage charges may apply for vehicles left beyond the agreed collection time.
7. Valuables & Personal Items
- Customers are responsible for removing all valuables and personal belongings before the service.
- BRV Valeting & Detailing accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.
8. Payments
- The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.
- Accepted payment methods include:
- Bank transfer (BACS)
- Invoice payment
- Cash
- Card payments (subject to a 1.75% processing fee)
- Any unpaid balances may result in refusal of future bookings.
9. Satisfaction & Complaints
- Any concerns must be raised before the vehicle leaves the premises.
- We must be given the opportunity to inspect and rectify any issues.
- Refunds are not provided for completed services once the vehicle has left the premises.
10. Liability
- BRV Valeting & Detailing holds appropriate insurance for the services provided.
- We are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, manufacturing defects, or previous poor repairs.
- Liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
11. Weather & Delays
- Workshop-based services are not weather dependent.
- In rare cases of delays due to unforeseen circumstances, customers will be notified as soon as possible.
12. Amendments
- BRV Valeting & Detailing reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
- The latest version will always apply at the time of booking.
